esquina y con él, diversos acontecimientos divertidos y
positivos.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-size: medium;">Uno de ellos
es el aguinaldo que en nuestro país deben recibir, por ley, todos
los empleados a más tardar el 20 de diciembre.</span><br /><br
/><span style="font-size: medium;">Pero, ¿sabes cómo se
originó esta "bonita costumbre"?<span style="font-weight: bold;"><br
/></span><span style="color: #9e1c47; font-weight: bold;"></span></span><br
/><span style="font-size: medium;"> Existen varias versiones al respecto
pero una de las más comúnmente aceptadas es que cerca del
año 750 a.C. existía entre los romanos la tradición de
que el rey iba a recoger ramas de verbena en el bosque sagrado de Strenua,
la diosa de la salud y una vez que había regresado a su palacio, el
pueblo le llevaba más ramas del mismo arbusto para desearle un buen
año.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-size: medium;">Poco a poco
la gente comenzó a obsequiarse entre sí estas ramas como
símbolo de buenos deseas para el siguiente año y luego el
tipo de regalos fue cambiando hasta llegar incluso a ser metales preciosos
y joyas, de acuerdo a las posibilidades de cada familia. La
tradición se extendió y se adaptó a las
características de cada cultura.</span><br /><br /><span
style="font-size: medium;">La palabra aguinaldo proviene del término
Au-Gui-l’aneuf. Au Gui era el nombre del muérdago de la encina
con el que los sacerdotes sustituyeron las ramas de verbena y
L’anneuf significa el año nuevo.</span><br /><br /><span
style="font-size: medium;">En México actualmente y de acuerdo al
artículo 87 de la Ley Federal del Trabajo, el monto mínimo
del aguinaldo es el equivalente a 15 días de salario y debe pagarse,
como te mencionamos al principio, antes del 20 de diciembre de cada
año, a quienes laboraron un año completo. Quienes trabajaron
menos de un año, deben recibir la parte proporcional a los
días trabajados.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-size:
medium;">El aguinaldo es entonces un "regalo" producto de tu esfuerzo de
todo un año, así que ¡cuídalo!</span><br /><br
